Hersheypark Opens Daily for the Summer with new Jolly Rancher attractions
These rides only be at Hersheypark and they will be opening for the public on Sat., May 28.
Hersheypark is now open for the summer season!
Guests visiting this summer will notice two new Jolly Rancher attraction experiences:
Jolly Rancher Remix and Mix’d Flavored By Jolly Rancher.
At the Mix’d Flavored ride, riders will sit in one of four arms and spin a full 360 degrees. The ride doesn’t go upside down, but it does shift into gear and mixes in lifts and drops while dodging other rides.

When you are at the top of the ride, you will get some incredible, never-before-seen views of The Boardwalk and other coasters at Hersheypark. The ride will be open for all four seasons, so it’s a great option for families visiting during seasonal events held at Hersheypark, as well.
The Jolly Rancher Remix is a reimagined boomerang coaster.
The lights flash a specific color and music plays that indicates the flavor ride that riders are about to take. The ride will then send riders forward and back on the same flavorful track complete with lights, music and scents. This ride does go upside down, and you actually invert six times in 90 seconds and blast through a new Jolly Rancher flavor tunnel. Each ride is different with five randomized flavor rides like Watermelon or Green Apple.
These rides only exist at Hersheypark and they will be opening for the public on Sat., May 28.

Thanksgiving in Lehigh Valley: the perfect stuffing bread DOES exist – and it’s… [recipe inside]
This Thanksgiving in the Lehigh Valley, the perfect stuffing bread DOES exist – and it’s brioche. As in St Pierre Brioche Thanksgiving Stuffing
No Thanksgiving spread is complete without a hearty stuffing. While add-ins are a matter of preference, choosing the right bread is crucial. One underrated choice is eggy, rich brioche – and with St Pierre Bakery, you don’t need to go to France to get it.
Thanks to its butter and egg content, St Pierre’s Brioche Loaf provides the perfect balance of crisp toastiness while remaining soft and creamy inside, while its lightly sweet flavor adds a decadent quality that can still lean savory. Attached below is an approachable recipe for stuffing allowing for all the craveable crunch for the whole family with minimal effort required.
St Pierre Brioche Thanksgiving Stuffing
By @BrandiMilloy
Ingredients
1 loaf St. Pierre Brioche Bread
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 medium onion, diced
3/4 cup celery, diced
3/4 cup carrots, diced
1 cup mushrooms, diced
2 large eggs
1 tbsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
3 sprigs fresh thyme, just the leaves
1 tbsp. fresh sage, chopped
1 small apple (granny smith works well), peeled and diced
Salt and pepper
Directions
-
Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut brioche bread into 1” cubes and bake for about 10-15 minutes until toasted.
-
Meanwhile, into a pot over medium high heat add butter until melted. Add onion, celery and carrots and cook until everything starts to soften, about 7 minutes. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat and set aside.
-
Into a bowl whisk together the eggs, herbs, apples, mushrooms, and salt and pepper. Add your cooked vegetables and mix to combine.
-
Pour mixture on top of toasted bread and stir to combine. Bake stuffing for about 45 minutes. If your stuffing starts to get too brown, cover until finished baking. Enjoy!
As America’s favorite brioche brand, St Pierre’s products are widely available via grocery stores nationwide as well as Walmart.

World’s greatest tribute to the music of the ‘80s! – Jessie’s Girl plays Penn’s Peak Friday December 1, 2023
Penn’s Peak is proud to announce Jessie’s Girl, Friday, December 1, 2023 at 8pm.
Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl is the world’s greatest tribute to the music of the ‘80s!
Jessie’s Girl’s primary line-up includes a team of NYC’s top rock and pop vocalists: Jenna O’Gara, Chris Hall, and Mark Rinzel. They are backed by one of the tightest bands in the city comprised of 20+ year veterans of the NYC music scene: Eric Presti on guitar, Drew Mortali on bass, Michael Maenza on drums, and Karlee Bloom on keys and keytar.
Each with dozens of credits performing with authentic ‘80s icons who made the music famous to begin with!
In fact, Bret Michaels, MC Hammer, Colin Hay from Men at Work, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Taylor Dane, Mike Score from A Flock of Seagulls, Tone Loc, Rob Base, and many more have all performed at the Back To The Eighties Show.
Their calendar is filled with high-profile appearances and private events around the U.S., bringing the Back To The Eighties Show to The Theater at Madison Square Garden for the I Want My ‘80s Concert, ABC / NY Magazine’s launch party for The Goldbergs, a Halloween bash with Academy Award winner Jamie Foxx, a private birthday party for ‘80s icon Neil Patrick Harris and Coca Cola / Buffalo Wild Wings’ massive “Tablegate” event in Tempe, AZ, opening for Smash Mouth!
The band has continuously sold out nights at prestigious regional venues such as The Capitol Theatre in Westchester, NY, The Paramount on Long Island, the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, NJ, Penn’s Peak in Jim Thorpe, PA, and many other venues. They are the only band to play every year on The ‘80s Cruise and have firmed a deal to continue performing through 2024.
There is no decade like the ‘80s and no party like The Back To The Eighties Show with Jessie’s Girl. So throw on your best neon, use extra hair spray on that hair and head to the Back To The Eighties Show – because it’s time to party like it’s 1989!

Buckcherry plays Penn’s Peak Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 8pm
Buckcherry plays Penn’s Peak Sunday, September 17, 2023 at 8pm.
Buckcherry is unique, complex, simple, passionate, explosive, original and always a good time.
From Buckcherry:
BC has been my love, my pain, my passion and I’m so proud of what we have accomplished. I never knew when I started this that dedicating myself to music would be taking on so much responsibility.
For a guy who never thought he was going to live past 30 this has been an incredible journey.

Our ninth record HELLBOUND marks 22 years since our debut self-titled release and what an amazing roller coaster we have been on. From hit songs to platinum and gold records and millions of fans worldwide – all during a time period when traditional sounding hard rock bands didn’t exist – except for Buckcherry. We beat the odds and built our reputation on the live shows, and our “one of a kind” approach to every opportunity.
When the pandemic hit, we had to shift gears like everyone else and it was anything but comfortable. The good news is when the band is backed up against the wall, we produce our best music. HELLBOUND reflects just that. Teaming up with Marti Fredrickson again was so inspiring. He really brings out the best of us and becomes the sixth band member when we are together. There is this mutual respect and passion going on that makes it effortless and fun.
There was so much going on in the world that it was easy to find subject matter for song writing. Songs like BARRICADE and JUNK reflect that, but I also was reminiscing about the moment when I “sold my soul to rock n’ roll”.
I will never forget it.
It was the very first performance at a house party in Orange County, CA. I knew in that moment that there was no looking back, and no “plan B”. It was only victory or death. The title track HELLBOUND reflects that very moment and is one of my favorite tracks. Part of what I loved about rock records growing up was the dynamics from song to song, you had mid-tempo songs, ballads, and rockers and HELLBOUND is a great reflection of that.
Songs like NO MORE LIES, AIN’T WASTING NO MORE TIME, and THE WAY really capture the depth and emotion of not only the world situation but also the personal struggle. Then you must have those quintessential Buckcherry tracks like SO HOT, 5-4-3-2-1, HERE I COME and GUN that I can see our long time fans really appreciating.
Through adversity Buckcherry has had its greatest moments and we are having on right now with HELLBOUND. I hope you enjoy it, and we will see you at the rock show!!
