An Evening with Keller Williams on Nov 4 to Celebrate 20th Anniversary of Album “Laugh” at the Sherman Theater

An Evening with Keller Williams Celebrates the 20th Anniversary of his album “Laugh” at the Sherman Theater.

Keller Williams will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of his album “Laugh” at the Sherman Theater on November 4.

This Evening with Keller Williams will include original musicians from the album, Tye North (Leftover Salmon) and Dave Watts (The Motet.).

Williams said:

“We will play “Laugh” in it’s entirety and attempt to create the studio magic live…yet enhanced.
Please enjoy responsibly.”

Virginian Keller Williams, released his first album in 1994, FREEK, and has since given each of his albums a single syllable title: BUZZ, SPUN, BREATHE, LOOP, LAUGH, HOME, DANCE, STAGE, GRASS, DREAM, TWELVE, LIVE, ODD, THIEF, KIDS, BASS, PICK, FUNK, VAPE, SYNC, RAW, SANS, ADD, SPEED and CELL.

Each title serves as a concise summation of the concept guiding each project. Keller’s albums reflect his pursuit to create music that sounds like nothing else. Un-beholden to conventionalism, he seamlessly crosses genre boundaries. The end product is music that encompasses rock, jazz, funk and bluegrass, and always keeps the audience on their feet.

Keller built his reputation initially on his engaging live performances, no two of which are ever alike. For most of his career he has performed solo.

His stage shows are rooted around Keller singing his compositions and choice cover songs, while accompanying himself on acoustic guitar, bass, guitar synthesizer and drum samples; a technique called live phrase sampling or “looping”.

The end result often leans toward a hybrid of alternative folk and groovy electronica, a genre Keller jokingly calls “acoustic dance music” or ADM.” Keller’s constant evolution has led to numerous band projects as well; Keller & The Keels, Grateful Grass, KWahtro, Keller and the Travelin’ McCourys, Grateful Gospel and More Than A Little to name a few. Keller can be found playing clubs and festivals around the U.S. with these projects throughout the year.

When you are at the top of the ride, you will get some incredible, never-before-seen views of The Boardwalk and other coasters at Hersheypark. The ride will be open for all four seasons, so it’s a great option for families visiting during seasonal events held at Hersheypark, as well.

The Jolly Rancher Remix is a reimagined boomerang coaster.

The lights flash a specific color and music plays that indicates the flavor ride that riders are about to take. The ride will then send riders forward and back on the same flavorful track complete with lights, music and scents. This ride does go upside down, and you actually invert six times in 90 seconds and blast through a new Jolly Rancher flavor tunnel. Each ride is different with five randomized flavor rides like Watermelon or Green Apple.

These rides only exist at Hersheypark and they will be opening for the public on Sat., May 28.

Iconic Music Group Village People at Wind Creek on Aug 20

The group was originally formed by French producers Jacques Morali, Henri Belolo and lead singer Victor Willis following the release of the debut album Village People, which targeted disco’s large gay audience.

The group’s name refers to Manhattan’s Greenwich Village, with its reputation as a gay neighborhood.

The Village People were a musical group that were formed in the mid-to-late 70s by music producers Jacques Morali and Henri Belolo along with the brilliant lead singer named Victor Willis.

The group that came out of Greenwich Village in New York City would become one of the most iconic musical groups from the 70s for multiple reasons.

Many bands have had gimmicks throughout the years like Kiss or Twisted Sister with their makeup and so forth.

The Village People were based on male characters of masculinity dressed up in macho costumes represented by a Cowboy played by Randy Jones, a construction worker played by David Hodo, an American Indian played by Felipe Rose, a leatherman played by Glenn Hughes, a G.I played by Alexander Briley and the band’s lead singer and founding member Victor Willis who dressed up as a cop.

“Fluffy” Comedy Icon Gabriel Iglesias Brings Big Laughs to Wind Creek on Sept 2

“Fluffy” Comedy Icon Gabriel Iglesias Brings Big Laughs to Wind Creek on Sept 2

Iglesias is one of America’s most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world.

He is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with almost a billion views and has over 25 million fans across social media.

In 2018, Gabe was included in The Hollywood Reporter’s “Top 40 Comedy Players” issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels.

The comedian has also had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden in New York, Staples Center in Los Angeles and Sydney Opera House in Australia.

So how’d he get the name Fluffy anyway?

A cat,” jokes Gabriel.

“No, one time I called myself fat around my mom, and she said was like ‘You’re not fat, you’re fluffy!”

Iglesias is the star and executive producer of Mr. Iglesias, the multi-cam, Netflix original comedy series, which is currently streaming Part 1-3. Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater.

He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being “counseled out” by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential.

In 2020, the show won best Primetime Comedy at The Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors/actresses in the entertainment industry
