“Top Gun: Maverick” Screens FREE at Hopewell Park for Enthralling Outdoor Free Movie Night from Upper Saucon Township and Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce

Upper Saucon Township and Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce Collaborate to Host an Enthralling Outdoor Free Movie Night at Hopewell Park on August 18th featuring “Top Gun: Maverick”

Upper Saucon Township and Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce invite you to join them on August 18^th at Hopewell Park in Center Valley for the second free movie night of the year!

Attendees will be able to enjoy the new version of a timeless classic, “Top Gun: Maverick” starring Tom Cruise, on a large outdoor screen, making for an epic cinematic experience. This community event promises to bring together residents and visitors alike for a night of entertainment under the stars.

Moviegoers are encouraged to bring their blankets and lawn chairs, as they settle in to relish the nostalgic atmosphere of a drive-in-style movie night.

The picturesque setting of Hopewell Park and Rose Garden provides the perfect backdrop for an evening of fun, relaxation, and camaraderie.

The movie night event will begin with a pre-show gathering at 7:30 PM, allowing attendees to grab a space on the lawn and socialize over ice cream for purchase from Mon & Mel’s Ice Cream Truck before the main screening begins just after sunset. Beverages and popcorn will also be available for a suggested donation of $1 to go back to bringing initiatives like this to the community.

The tastiest week of the year is back in the Southern Lehigh region!

The Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, along with their community sponsors, are excited to present the 2023 Restaurant Week starting Sunday April 23^rd to Saturday April 29^th. During this week 8+ local restaurants from across Upper Saucon Township, Coopersburg Borough and Lower Milford Township will be offering discounts and specials for the community to enjoy.

When asked what the purpose of restaurant week, Jessica O’Donnell-Gower said “We here at the Chamber are as much a Chamber of Communities as we are a Chamber of Commerce.

In hosting restaurant weeks we strive to get the community out

and supporting the local businesses

by being able to try a new dish or a fan favorite,

all at a bargain price.”

So take the week off from cooking and get out and support your local favorites like Diana’s Café, Casa Toro (who is offering both lunch and dinner specials!), Carlo’s Pizza and even the Coopersburg Diner.

In addition to these local eateries, we are excited to have some regional favorites on board like Red Robin at the Promenade Shops, The Brick Tavern Inn, and new this year, White Orchids Thai Cuisine and the new Batch Microcreamery, also located at the Promenade.

No Tricks! Just Treats – Halloween Family Fun from Trunks in Upper Saucon Township Oct 23

Gear up the kids for a local Trunk or Treat held by Upper Saucon Township & the Southern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce.

From 1-3pm on Sunday October 23, 2022 children will be able to walk around the parking lot at Hopewell Park 4695 W Hopewell Rd, Center Valley, PA 18034 to visit trunks of local businesses and organizations to receive candy or goodies for free.

There will be a DJ on site to pump the tunes and celebrate the Halloween holiday – maybe even some dancin’ if the kids are feeling it!

Families can pose for pictures by our face-in-a-hole festive board and “How Tall This Fall” board. Travelin’ Hot Dogs and Mon & Mel’s Sweet Scoops will be on site selling food for families to purchase.

Organizations setting up include: SoLeHi Girl Scouts, Southern Lehigh Public Library, Mary Kay, St Lukes Pediatrics, Crime Victims Council of the LV, and more!
