The Emmaus Cheers Trail on Dec. 6 with tastings, local shops, a shuttle service, and festive fun across the Borough of Emmaus.
Some holiday traditions just hit differently, especially in places like Emmaus, where the streets sparkle, the shops feel warm and welcoming, and everyone seems to know someone who knows someone.
That’s exactly the charm behind the return of the Emmaus Cheers Trail, a highlight of the local holiday season and the perfect pairing with the town’s Old-Fashioned Christmas Celebration.
This year’s excitement is already bubbling, and the Emmaus Cheers Trail is popping up everywhere for good reason.

On Saturday, December 6, 2025, from noon to 5 PM, guests can sip, stroll, shop, and soak in the fun-loving holiday atmosphere. With two unique trails, dozens of small businesses, and a brand-new complimentary shuttle, the experience is shaping up to be flavorful, festive, and full of cheer.
If holiday magic had an address, it might just be Emmaus.
A Holiday Tradition that Unites Emmaus: Why the Emmaus Cheers Trail Is So Loved
Each December, the Cheers Trail turns Emmaus into a warm, spirited celebration of local business, neighborly charm, and community pride. Shops across the borough open their doors to welcome guests for tastings, treats, and special holiday experiences.
This year’s sponsors, Kleckner & Sons Appliances and SERVPRO of Allentown and Western Lehigh, help bring the event to life. Dan Doyle, COO & Owner of SERVPRO of Allentown Central and Western Lehigh County, shared the heart behind their support:
“SERVPRO Team Doyle is thrilled to return as the official Cheers Trail Sponsor for the Emmaus Old Fashioned Christmas…”Dan Doyle
“…As a local business, we are deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve. This event is the perfect opportunity for friends and neighbors to connect, and we are proud to help bring this tradition back for everyone to enjoy.”
If there were ever a moment that captures Emmaus at its most relatable and joyful, this is it, neighbors bundled in scarves, sampling seasonal flavors, laughing their way down the trail like a real-life holiday movie.
Red or Green? Choose Your Trail and Sip Your Way Through Town

Guests pick up their passports from 12–1 PM at Kleckner & Sons, the first official trail stop.
And here’s the exciting new twist:
A complimentary shuttle, sponsored by Easton Coach, will help guests travel safely and easily across the borough.
“We’re grateful to Easton Coach for helping us enhance the Cheers Trail experience by providing complimentary shuttle service,”
Hayden Rinde
“We’re grateful to Easton Coach for helping us enhance the Cheers Trail experience by providing complimentary shuttle service,” said Hayden Rinde, Emmaus Main Street Manager & Assistant Vice President of the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce. “This addition makes it even easier for guests to reach and enjoy the fantastic businesses at the far end of Chestnut Street, giving them a safe, seamless way to shop and explore.”
This year’s trail is not just festive—it’s downright convenient. And yes, a shuttle means fewer laps around town trying to remember where you parked. Relatable, right?
Holiday Memories in the Making
Beyond the tastings and local shopping, the Cheers Trail is a celebration of Emmaus’s small-town sweetness, its local makers, its storefronts glowing with holiday warmth, and its shop owners who greet you like old friends.
Jessica O’Donnell-Gower, Executive Vice President of the Greater Lehigh Valley, summed it up beautifully:
“Our community shines brightest when we come together, and the Cheers Trail is a perfect example of that holiday magic.
Jessica O’Donnell-Gower
“…Every stop on the trail represents a business that pours their heart into Emmaus. Supporting them while celebrating the season is what this event is all about.”
It’s a flavorful reminder that the holidays are about more than gifts—they’re about connection, joy, and the fun-loving spirit that keeps Emmaus shining long after December.
