There’s plenty of ways to celebrate the spooky season this year in the Lehigh Valley, from ghost stories and walking tours, to family friendly fun, and of course, some adult-level screams and scares.

Bethlehem’s Death & Dying Cemetery Tour
Take a walk – if you dare – on Bethlehem’s historic cemetery tour!
Your certified, costumed guide will meet you inside the oldest building in Bethlehem, from the 1700s. Witness death and destruction. Then escape outdoors to hear the story of the Corpse House and more morbidity. End your tour at the oldest (and some say haunted) cemetery in the city

Nazareth’s Spooky Lantern-Led Historic Walking Tour
Head to Nazareth for a Spooky Lantern-Led Tour (October 21-22 & 28-29) which features ghost stories of Nazareth. Their costume-guided tour provides an overview of the historic city and the spookiest stories about the area.

Hellertown’s Crystal Cave Ghost Lantern Tours
See Crystal Cave (October 14-15, 21-22 & 28-29) by a different light!
Experience the spooky, the sinister, the ghostly as this haunted cave. Their guides, dressed in Victorian clothing, reveal the unexplained and mysterious incidents that have occurred at the caves.

Downtown Bethlehem’s Historic Haunts of Downtown Bethlehem Ghost Tour
For a night of scares and thrills, take a journey into the past and the paranormal on Moravian Book Shop’s original candle-lit walking tour!
Learn the legends and lore of over a dozen locations, from ghostly soldiers, to a spirited songstress who continues to entertain. You’ll hear tales of unrequited love, ladies seeking justice, and spooks who have saved the day!
Tours run weekends throughout October.

Easton’s Ghost Tours
This Halloween, things are getting Eerie in Easton!
Take a tour about murder, mischief, and misadventure in the Downtown Easton Historic District.
From a mobster’s murder to the witches of Hexenkopf Hill, Easton’s history is filled with dark tales of suspicious disappearances, strange coincidences (or are they?), and disastrous journeys.
This year’s tour features four new locations, as well as the return of six of their most popular stories.

Enjoy an evening of spookery in the park.

Dorney Park’s Great Pumpkin Fest
All fun and no fear for your family
Great Pumpkin Fest offers one-of-a-kind Halloween events for kids throughout the park! Located in Wildwater Kingdom, you’ll find family-friendly activities, games, play zones, costume contests, dance parties and more! Around every hay bale you can catch toe-tapping, live entertainment and grab a comfy seat to just kick back and take it all in.
Activities include: Daisy Hill Tractor Stomp, Charlie Brown’s Craft Corner, Peanuts character meet and greet.

Dorney Park’s Halloween Haunt is back!
Be scared and hold on tight. Hundreds of terrifying ghouls and ghosts soar into the park, all ready to turn your nightmares into reality.
Haunted mazes, scare zones, and live entertainment bring your blood to a boil at this not-for-kids event.

Hersheypark is preparing for A Spooky Season this year
Hersheypark’s “Dark Nights” will feature both scare zones and full haunted house experiences.
The event will include midways that transform from enchanting to unnerving with three Scare Zones, eerie to intense, included with a general admission ticket to Hersheypark Halloween.
Also included in Dark Nights are four horrifying haunted houses.
Besides the new haunted experiences, Hersheypark has extended its Halloween season to include seven weekends, starting on Sept. 17 and running until Oct. 30.

Lehigh Valley Zoo’s Boo at the Zoo
Boo at the Zoo is a three weekend event!
October 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 & 30
Trick-or-treat each day from 10AM-3:30PM at candy & treat stations throughout the Zoo!
Enjoy music and dancing with DJ Ray from Fling-a-Things from 12-2PM on the final weekend, October 29 and 30!

In Easton Crayola’s Screamin’ Green Hauntoween
This event is CHALK-full of spooky happenings: a themed scavenger hunt, spook-tastic crafts, character photo ops, and more!
All included with admission. Have a Screamin’ Green good time while exploring Crayola’s 29 creative attractions. Plus every weekend they host trick-or-treating.

Pocono’s Electrifying Jack O’ Lantern experience
This spooky season come out and experience the area’s coolest, most unique Halloween event.
Created for kids of all ages, this walk-through Jack O’ Lantern experience is sure to become a family tradition.
A family friendly walk through experience on the grounds of The West End fairgrounds, featuring thousands of hand-carved pumpkins displayed in a creative and artistic exhibit.
There’s nothing “scary” about it. Very family-friendly.
The average walk time to walk through is about 45 minutes, but you can take as long as you’d like – it’s ideal for the ‘gram, to stop and take pictures.
Warning: Tickets must be pre-purchased online. All tickets have a timed reservation entrance time, and no one will be admitted without a pre-purchased ticket. Children two and under are free.
