Uptown Northampton Street Fair Returns Sept. 13: Its 36th Year of Food, Fun, and Community Pride

Don’t miss the Northampton Street Fair on Sept. 13, 100+ vendors, food, music, performances, and family fun on Main Street.

There’s something special about a street fair here in the Lehigh Valley, where Main Streets carry history, heart, and that friendly mix of familiar faces.

That feeling comes alive each fall at the Uptown Northampton Street Fair, now celebrating its 36th year. This long-loved event continues to be a highlight for families, longtime residents, and first-time visitors.

Northampton Street Fair

On Saturday, September 13, 2025, Main Street will transform into a lively stretch of music, food, shopping, and fun-loving community spirit.

More than 100 vendors, live entertainment, kids’ activities, demonstrations, and unique attractions fill the day with flavor and excitement. If you’ve ever wanted to step right into the kind of festival scene you see in charming small-town movies, this is it.

A Beloved Tradition: The Northampton Street Fair Brings the Community Together

The Greater Northampton Area Chamber of Commerce, proud partner of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber, once again invites the public to one of the region’s most anticipated events.

Each year, the Northampton Street Fair grows bigger and more vibrant, proof of just how much the community loves gathering on Main Street to celebrate local talent and small businesses.

Shoppers can browse 100+ merchants and craft vendors offering handmade goods, clothing, art, specialty items, and plenty of surprises. A long lineup of food trucks will serve savory bites, sweet treats, and delicious drinks. You’ll find everything from classics like funnel cake and kettle corn to creative dishes from local favorites. It’s a flavor-filled adventure perfect for a fun-loving crowd.

The fair also offers adult beverages, served responsibly, and plenty of family-friendly activities that keep the day laid-back and easy—even for parents pushing strollers or wrangling energetic kids (we’ve all been there).

Music, Comedy & Performances Fill Main Street All Day

Entertainment is a huge draw at the Northampton Street Fair. This year’s schedule features a mix of music, comedy, and community performances from start to finish.

The Hannah Noel Band kicks off the celebration from 11:15 AM to 1:45 PM, bringing their lively sound to the main stage. Additional musical acts will spread out throughout the afternoon.

Other performances include:

  • Boy Scout Troop 93

  • Pennsylvania Ballet Academy

  • Local entertainers and performers

  • A special comedy set by Scott Henninger from 1:00–2:00 PM

It’s the kind of lineup that feels both local and big-time; a blend of homegrown talent and polished entertainment you might expect in larger cities, but with Northampton’s warm, relatable charm.

Unique Attractions Add Flavor and Fun

This year’s Northampton Street Fair also features attractions designed to bring smiles to all ages. Guests can:

  • Cuddle friendly calves at Mini Moos Cow Cuddling

  • Try Mini Putt courtesy of Hillside Minigolf

  • Enjoy interactive demonstrations and games

It’s a playful, fun-loving atmosphere that taps into the joy of small-town gatherings—complete with food vendors cooking up favorites like Greek Street, GrubNight, Snowie, You Got Pork’d, Funnel Cake treats, wineries, cider makers, and more.

Caitlin Hamlin-Myers, Assistant Vice President of the Greater Northampton Area Chamber, shared:
