54th Annual Pennridge Gallery of the Arts Returns on September 18!
The Pennridge Gallery Of The Arts will return to Sellersville Borough’s Main Street on September 18, 2022 from 12-5 PM.
With dozens of fine artists and crafters, live music, food trucks, adult beverages, family activities and more, this family-friendly event entertains hundreds of visitors throughout the afternoon.
“We’re thrilled to be returning to Sellersville and growing our festival back to pre-COVID numbers,”
said Kylie Adams-Weiss,
Chairperson for the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts.
“While we may not be as large as in years past, our talented artists and crafters are sure to impress. With traditional media like painting, drawing, printmaking, to photography, graphic design, ceramics and handmade goods, there is a little bit of something for everyone! We hope the community will continue to celebrate and embrace the artists as they do each year.”
Main Street, Sellersville, will be closed for the festival from Green Street to Elm Street, and access to local businesses will be encouraged.
The Picker’s Junction, Next Chapter Bookstore, Johnny Roc’s Pizza, the Washington House and Koolick’s, among others, will be open to the public for those who wish to get out of the sun and support local.
BuxMont Awards will be opening their door to house the 2022 Featured Artist, Micah Myerov.
“Micah’s work is as unique and innovative as it is beautiful,”
said Adams-Weiss.
“We’re happy to have a local Perkasie artist on display at BuxMont Awards this year.” Myerov, who received his BFA in Fine Art Painting from Corcoran Colllege of Art and Design and completed his graduate work in 3D Visual Effects at the Vancouver Film School, works as a freelance sculptor in the entertainment, movie and collectibles industries. His work will be featured in a solo exhibition at BuxMont Awards from 12-5 PM.
Live music will feature local musicians from throughout Bucks County, including Andrew Lobby, JWC Music Studio, St. John’s Wort, the Hometown Trio, Greg Masters, and Elle Gyandoh. In addition, performances from Shanteel Yoga, Dance Works of Quakertown, and Action Karate of Telford. A children’s area will also feature Chippy the Clown and a petting zoo with Callowhill Alpacas.
Craft and Artist Vendors are invited to apply through September 9. Information on registration can be found on the Pennridge Gallery of the Arts website.
Join us and experience a Bucks County tradition that has been 54 years in the making.
